Nashan McKelton
Director of Sales & Growth 

 The Center for Economic Inclusion has hired Nashan (pronounced Nation) McKelton as our first Director of Sales & Growth. The Director of Sales & Growth is responsible for leading implementation of all aspects of the sales strategy, as well as the successful development and leadership of the business development and sales team to achieve Center sales and financial goals. Nashan will work across the organization and with partners to achieve ambitious sales and social enterprise impact goals by selling the Center’s consulting services, products, workshops, experiential learning events (workshops/ convenings/ speaking engagements,) and tours to mid-market sized private- and public-sector employers. 

Nashan is an experienced business development and sales leader with a passion for supporting growth-oriented companies in the advancement of their missions through lasting client experiences and innovative sales solutions. In her new role, Nashan will manage the entire business development and sales channel accountabilities including systematic prospect cultivation and engagement, pipeline management, developing and managing an opportunity-specific sales strategy and cross-functional pursuit teams to executing the complete sales strategy.

Prior to her role at the Center, Nashan was head of business development for Queue IT. In that role, Nashan built the sales team from the ground-up, ultimately expanding to 30 sales leaders.  She led the department to generate $2.8M in pure outbound sales revenue in 2021, securing new business with myriad high-profile national and international companies. In 2022, she achieved 100% lead attainment and $2.9M in revenue with a 30/70 SMB/ENT split. Prior to joining Queue IT, Nashan worked for Jamf Software as a strategic account executive for the Public Sector and Enterprise divisions.

Nashan comes to the Center with a passion for serving her St. Paul community and others. She had a lifelong dream to create a nonprofit, but ultimately discovered that sales is her calling. To that end, Nashan said she is excited to join the Center to marry her gifts and talents, with her passion for community-based, transformative work. There was also a clear values alignment between the Center and Nashan. Her references described her leadership style as being anchored in grace, selflessness, being customer centric, having an inclusive approach and thriving under pressure.
