Hal Reynolds
Associate Vice President (AVP) of Employer Services and Consulting
The Center for Economic Inclusion has hired Hal Reynolds as its new Associate Vice President (AVP) of Employer Services and Consulting. In this role, Hal will lead a team of strategists, educators, analysts, and consultants to design and deliver anti-racist change management and organizational transformation services to help mid- to-large public- and private sector employers build racially equitable and inclusive workplaces that are positioned to contribute toward the Center’s mission of building racially inclusive regional economies.
Hal joins the Center after serving most recently at the Vice President of Sales Enablement and Social Impact at Wisdom Gaming, a premier gaming company specializing in esports production, content creation, tournament organization and strategic brand activation. In that role, Hal led and executed sales strategy and objectives, aligning them with company goals. He also oversaw the company’s corporate responsibility and social impact function, with a focus on expanding programs and partnerships to bring esports and tech education to disinvested communities and prepare youth for high-paying tech jobs. Prior to Wisdom Gaming, Hal served in various leadership capacities with Best Buy, ranging from General Manager to Director. While there, he oversaw the operations and volunteer efforts for all Best Buy Teen Tech Centers nationally. He also led strategy, governance, and fiscal oversight in partnership with the Best Buy Foundation.
In his role at the Center, Hal will also be responsible for developing and managing a compelling vision for employer services and consulting that attracts a relevant base of clients, capable employees, and complementary strategic partners; developing and facilitating a measurable annual strategy in collaboration with organizational and department leaders and cultivating an environment of results measurement leveraging the Center’s EOS framework; and developing and leading strategies for establishing and expanding partnerships and business relationships to grow revenue. He will also be a visible presence representing the Center both with clients and in community.
Hal holds leadership certifications through Myers-Briggs (MBTI), Korn Ferry, and Blanchard (Situational Leadership Trainer). Hal is an active community leader, having served on the Board of Directors for Great River Greening and as a mentor for Bolder Option Youth Program.
