Executive Assistant to the Founder and CEO
The Center for Economic Inclusion welcomes Kimberly Anderson as executive assistant to our Founder and CEO Tawanna Black. Kimberly is an authentic, skilled, and dedicated professional with extensive experience working in diverse business environments that demand strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills.
She possesses a strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to customer service excellence. Kimberly comes to the Center having served as a senior executive assistant in the C-suite at Cargill. Prior to her work at Cargill, she spent 12 years as a project coordinator in the global mobility division at Ernst & Young LLP.
Kimberly said she wanted to join the Center because of our strong brand and because she resonated with the Center’s mission of closing the racial employment and income wealth gaps. In her role, Kimberly is responsible for building the strongest most supportive working relationship possible that honors the CEO’s values and vision for the organization and scope of work to create optimal conditions for success.
Kimberly serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters sponsored by the CEO and oversees a very demanding, and rapidly changing calendar for the CEO utilizing an agreed upon set of goals and priorities to assess each request and opportunity. Kimberly also coordinates all Board and committee meetings and provides logistics and project management of Center-sponsored events.
Kimberly is married and in her spare time is a basketball mom and is active in her church, including participating in the music ministry.
